Looking Back On 2023 and Ahead To 2024

MERRY CHRISTMAS GREETINGS AND WISHING YOU A BLESSED NEW YEAR 2024.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Comments: It is so wonderful to know that it is only our born, died, and arisen Lord Jesus Christ that we are taken into the kingdom of God by faith and born again. As a result, we desire to see children in Southern Africa and beyond having a personal relationship with the Lord for the rest of their earthly life till everlasting in heaven. Amen and Amen.

T4T teams & children in Southern Africa & beyond.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Almighty God and the prayer and supporting partners for all that God enables us to achieve together. Reaching to over 20,000 children through over 1,000 trained volunteer teachers in the Region and beyond, is incredible. There were 11 Ministry Missionary Journeys that took place in 2023. The year has been busier for T4T and especially for Chris the Manager and lead of the Ministry. Coming to the end of 2023 we say to God be the Glory. Doing God’s work God’s way. Especially thanking each one of you for serving together with us to advance the kingdom of God by reaching the upcoming generation.

There is so much need for T4T in the Region of Southern Africa and beyond.

Meeting with one of T4T Trainers Rev. Donald Mqwathi and a new volunteer Luckson Kanda in Northwest Province South Africa. We met to map a way forward to implement T4T in Katlegong community in South Africa. Donald is also preparing to go to Lesotho for T4T training next week. Chris gave him T4T books.

Wilfred Gonese, who attended T4T at the age of 9 years old, became one of our T4T Volunteers. As he served the Lord in reaching the children and discipling them, he felt the call from the Lord for full time ministry. Wilfred attended Bible College for 3 years and he has now graduated. He is now looking forward to serving the Lord full time. We invited Wilfred to a graduation lunch to celebrate what God has done and will do in his life.

Chris also shipped some of the T4T Books to Durban and Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, to some of our T4T trainers, Gugu Kunene and Ruth Maphumulo. There is so much need for the T4T Material to reach the upcoming generation.

We want to thank God for the provision C$1500 to print about 400 to 500 T4T books and buy consumables for the Photocopy Machine. However, we have lots of invitations from Mozambique, Madagascar, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana etc. This therefore means more T4T books to be printed in 2024, maintenance of the vehicle, for example service, fuel, and training costs. Thank you for your prayers and support.

We dedicate January and part of February to printing the T4T children’s lesson books and training manuals.

Plans are underway for initial implementation of T4T in Madagascar late February God willing.

Praise the Lord for:

• All that God enabled us to achieve for His Kingdom’s sake.

Pray for:

• Praying for 2024 T4T Ministry in the Region of Southern Africa and beyond and God’s Provision for it in Jesus’ name.

• Good health for the Maphosas as a family, volunteer teams, and the children in each country.

• For the ministry to flow well through available means in-person or onsite, to children and volunteer teachers.

• For our volunteer teachers to remain committed to teaching children and that the children will remain rooted in Christ.

• For resources for the ministry to continue its expansion.

• Prayers and supporters

• Restful Christmas time as we celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and have a holiday time as family.

• Praying for Chris Junior who lives with a condition of Epilepsy Temporary Lobe
